DOCK BAY LODGE Te Anau opened in January 2007 with a bed & breakfast style luxury accommodation in Te Anau, Fiordland. Our guests are presented with large, superbly appointed suites, soundproofed to ensure peace and privacy.

Each suite has a king or super king luxurious bed, feather down duvets and pillows, flat screen television and DVD player, tea and coffee provisions, comfortable lounge chairs plus a granite-top writing table and chairs. The ensuites are also granite and tile with large glass showers, heaters, hairdryers and under-floor heating, together with delightful toiletries and velour robes for your comfort.

- Milford Suite with views north over the golf course and Lake Te Anau towards the Milford Track
- Takitimu Suite with a private lounge
- Luxmore Suite commonly known as the "honeymoon suite"
- Kepler Suite with a great view of Lake Te Anau

The guest lounge has a large open log fire, a 42” plasma television, DVD player with a wide variety of movies for your enjoyment, complimented by a quality surround sound system. This room flows through to a living and dining area where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the golf course, lake and mountains of the Fiordland National Park over a fine New Zealand wine. The library upstairs offers an extensive range of fiction and non-fiction including our local and indigenous history, plus there’s a separate well equipped gym, a sauna room and large spa pool.

Our lodge accommodation in Te Anau has wireless broadband internet connection throughout and a guest laptop is available for your use.

Uniquely situated on the boundary of the Te Anau Golf Course, Dock Bay Lodge is less than five minutes drive from the centre of Te Anau and just ten minutes walk to Fiordland National Park and the entrance to the world renowned Kepler track. There are many other beautiful walking tracks within easy access and for recreational fishermen the Waiau River is only a fly cast away from the Lodge.

Mountain bikes and high quality golf clubs are complimentary for guests and our knowledge of the activities and day trip options available in Fiordland, will help get the very best from your experience. Any spare time can be spent relaxing on a private balcony, soaking up the ambience, hospitality and stunning views that only this luxury Fiordland accommodation can provide.

We can assist with arranging any activites in Fiordland you wish including, day trips to Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and the Glow worm caves, tramping or hiking the Milford track, the Kepler track, the Hollyford track or the Routeburn track.
